Seven Transmutations is composed of a symbolic set of pencil line drawings that I have created into an animation adding one new line per second. Starting from an invisible point, the centre becomes the circumference expanding 6 directions in space to create a 3-dimmensional sphere. The sphere divides within itself creating an array of geometric forms arising from the circle and returning to it. The drawings attempt to define the process of nature as a set of interrelationships unified in a whole. Referencing the fundamentals of geometry, they are formed around my own physical proportions.

The accompanying sound track is taken from NASA’s space shuttle recordings of the electromagnetic frequency in the atmosphere of Uranus, the seventh planet, known in mythology as the god of the sky.
