“Discoveries” are the focus of this year's Gallery Weekend. One of the new artistic discoveries is Rachel Garrard with “A Continuous Song for Several Voices” in the Tanja Wagner gallery. “I believe that art has the ability to go beyond language and that we can soak up information and concepts from images. Symbolic shapes not only describe something, they also contain the essence of what they describe, ”says Garrard. Her first solo exhibition in Germany combines large-format paintings made from substances such as quartz and rock powder pigments with sculptures that explore the subtle realms of human experience. Natural colors, abstract compositions and spherical sounds invite you to enter a state of contemplation.
